MGH Celebrates International Women’s Day 2019

A Small Portion of the Team of Women Who Are Making a Difference in MGH

In a world that has progressed so much over the past century, women make up half the demography  yet not even half of the active economy. However, with time the dynamics are changing as more and more organizations like MGH are taking the initiatives to invest more into female leadership as they keep reaping the ultimate benefits.

Since the beginning, MGH has continuously fostered female leadership within the company and strived to put women into leadership positions. And these female leaders have managed to juggle all their responsibilities at work with the many other responsibilities of being a woman, effortlessly. Currently, many departments in MGH, such as Human Resources, Supply Chain and Client Relationship
Management are also lead by women.

In an effort to recognize the contribution of the current and inspire the future female leaders of MGH, all of them were brought together under one roof on the occasion of the International Women’s Day (IWD), 8th March 2019.

A High Tea Party where all the female colleagues of MGH were invited, started off with a session where a few of the current female leaders of MGH were asked to discuss how they balance their life for the better, in line with this year’s theme of IWD, Balance for Better.

The guest of honour, Mrs. Suhana Anis, Director of MGH Group, shared some anecdotes from her personal life as well and inspired all the women as a closing remark.

MGH has always acknowledged the dedication and hard work, the women have put into their work as well aligned its corporate values in accordance with it. In the future, MGH will continue to support women the way it has been all these years and encourage more female leadership both within and outside the company.
